Nobody Workshop ("we", "our", or "us") develops and publishes Work Hours & Pay Calculator (Android package com.nobodyworkshop.workhours). This policy explains how this app handles information and how its third-party services may process data.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

The app lets you enter and save:

This information is stored locally on your device. Nobody Workshop does not operate a server for this app and does not receive, upload, or remotely store your shift history, hourly pay information, or estimated earnings. The app does not require an account or sign-in.

2. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The app includes Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner advertisements when advertising is enabled. Google and its advertising partners may collect or process advertising-related information to deliver and measure advertisements, prevent fraud and abuse, limit ad frequency, provide personalized or non-personalized advertising where permitted, and comply with privacy requirements.

Depending on your device, region, privacy choices, and advertising configuration, this information may include IP address, advertising and other device identifiers, diagnostic information, app and ad interaction data, and other advertising-related information. An IP address may be used to estimate a device's general location, even though the app does not request Android location permission.

The app does not send your entered shift times, hourly rates, or calculated earnings to AdMob as advertising parameters. Nobody Workshop does not control Google's independent data handling practices.

3. Consent and Privacy Choices

For configured production advertising, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising privacy choices when required. Depending on your region, you may be shown Google's consent message or privacy options interface. Advertising requests are gated on UMP's permission to request ads.

When UMP reports that a privacy options entry point is required, the app provides Settings → Ad Privacy Options so you can review or update your choices. Available options depend on your region, applicable requirements, and the configured Google privacy messages.

You can also manage available advertising ID and advertising privacy controls in Android settings. Non-personalized or limited advertising may still involve data processing for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

4. No Account or Cloud Sync

The app does not provide user registration, cloud backup, cloud synchronization, online payroll accounts, or employer accounts. Shift and pay information remains in this app's local storage. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for the app's data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can remove locally stored information by:

Clearing storage or uninstalling removes the app's local history and preferences. Nobody Workshop maintains no remote copy and cannot recover that information. Google and other third-party services retain information they process according to their own policies and legal obligations. Clearing this app's local storage does not necessarily delete third-party records.

6. Data Security

We minimize information handled by Nobody Workshop by keeping entered work and pay information in Android's app-private local storage rather than sending it to our servers. The app does not add a separate password or encryption feature for your shift history. Protect your device with its available security controls.

No device, software system, or storage method is completely secure. Third-party services operate and secure information processed through their own systems.

7. Children's Privacy

Work Hours & Pay Calculator is not specifically designed for children. We do not operate a user account or backend service that collects children's work history or pay information. Third-party advertising may process information as described above and is subject to applicable age-related requirements.

8. Permissions

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone calls, calendar, photos, or shared storage. Internet and network access are used for advertising and related privacy functionality. Advertising SDKs may declare advertising ID and Android advertising-service permissions and other normal permissions in the app's manifest.

Not requesting location permission does not prevent an advertising provider from estimating general location from an IP address.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Advertisements and external links may open third-party websites or applications. Their privacy practices, content, and security are governed by those providers. Review their policies before providing information.

10. International Users

Third-party providers such as Google may process information outside the country where you live, according to their privacy policies, contractual safeguards, and applicable requirements.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when the app, third-party services, legal obligations, or privacy practices change. We will revise the effective date shown above. Please review this page periodically.
